The draw for the ‘Round of 32’ has been made and Calmore Sports will head to Cookham Dean on Sunday 20th June.

The Berkshire group winners, Cookham Dean are fourth in the Thames Valley League Division 1, with two wins and two defeats to their name so far this season.

They defeated Wraysbury in their group final, bowling out their visitors for 144 in 32 overs (Asghar 3-33, Dempster 4-11), getting home by four wickets with three overs to spare – Sohil Mangat 30* and Asghar 28* hauling them up from 63-5 in the chase.

Dempster is their leading run scorer in the competition this season with 103, recording their only half-century while Foster and Le Fleming with six wickets each top their wicket-taking charts.

Opening batsman Tom Fray has had a long and distinguished career in Minor Counties cricket with Berkshire.

They have history of beating Hampshire-based clubs in the Village Cup as they defeated Sarisbury Athletic in Round 4  in 2020 on their home ground – winning by two wickets.
