Calmore Sports Club was founded over one hundred years ago by the people of Calmore to provide a sports and social club for the local community. Since then the club has continued to grow into the club it is now.

Over the intervening years the club has enjoyed much success in terms of cricket accolade.  However, whilst sporting success can be measured by the number of trophies won, the foundation on which the success has been built is not so visible.  That accolade belongs to the club’s volunteers.

It is the volunteers who, through their commitment, ensures that the club is given the best opportunity to succeed, whether that be through the preparation of the cricket pitches, doing the bar, organising events or joining the committee to have a constant impact in the everyday running of the club.

Without the volunteers, Calmore Sports Club would not and could not exist.

Now we are inviting you to share in our continued success by becoming a volunteer and help to maintain a sporting facility for the community.

If you have some spare time and would like to volunteer to help the club please contact our Chairman or any committee member.
