At the Annual General Meeting of the Southern Electric Premier League last Thursday evening, it was confirmed that Calmore Sports have been promoted to SEPCL Division 1 – the second tier of club cricket in the region – following the demotion of Hambledon.

Calmore, who finished third in SEPCL Division 2 in 2014, have been rewarded for their impressive campaign to move up to Division 1 instead of the North Hampshire based club, whose ground accreditation did not meet up to the required standard.

The club are delighted to have accepted the promotion and are looking forward to locking horns with a number of familiar names, including local rivals Totton and Eling First XI, who were relegated from the Premier Division last season as well as Rowledge and Hartley Wintney, who were promoted as champions and runners-up respectively from Division 2 in 2014.

LIKELY OPPONENTS in 2015 SEPCL DIVISION ONE:
Totton and Eling
New Milton
Basingstoke and North Hampshire
Bournemouth
Liphook and Ripsley
Hook and Newnham Basics
Andover
Rowledge
Hartley Wintney
