Calmore honour 2015 players

Calmore Sports Club marked the end of the 2015 season with a combined Senior and Junior Presentation night – and it was hard-working Club Secretary Clare Taylor who stole the show by being announced as the “Club Person of the Year” for 2015.

Clare, who joined the club a couple of seasons ago and took up the Secretary position, has worked tirelessly on behalf of the club, not just in her official position but also assisting in the management of the Under 19 team, the Under 17 team as well as scoring many of the matches, including 1st XI fixtures and plentiful other senior and junior games.

Chairman Pete Lavelle honoured Clare in front of a packed audience at Loperwood Park, saying “Clare has been brilliant and the club wouldn’t run as smoothly as it does without her. She is fully deserving of this award.”
